Researcher, critic, and editor of children’s literature. B.A. in Literature at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Fulbright fellow for the M.A. in Liberal Studies programme at New School of Social Research, New York. PhD in Language and Literature Didactics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She coordinated Banco del Libro’s Study and Documentation Centre, lectured Children’s Literature and Reading Promotion at the Escuela de Letras de la Universidad Central de Venenzuela, and has collaborated in several projects with the publishing houses Ediciones Ekaré and Fondo de Cultura Económica.

Currently she teaches at the M.A. in Books and Literature for Children and Adolescents UAB-BL and works on different editorial projects as a freelancer.
