Based on the results of the previous investigation, this study delves into the learning mechanisms that favour in the didactic strategies the acquisition of the concept of literary genre in Secondary School students. The results, which show the variety and excellence of the appropriation strategies adopted by the students, point at didactics an asset for the configuration of a literary knowledge based on it’s use in the classroom.
This work contributes to support the argument that didactic activities in the frame of classroom projects can have a positive effect on students; it shows that projects based on the practice of reading and writing.
